Fall Blogger's Quilt Festival

The Butterfy quilt is the my best finish for the 2012
It's made with 143 butterfly blocks and 33 little things adorn the outer border.
I love the colors of this quilt but much more the mood...
fresh and not conventional.
A special THANKS to my lovely friend Claudia for the help with the appliquè designes.
And again THANKS to Amy to organizing the Festival
and to all of you to enjoy it and to share your wonderful quilts!

Just back...

... from London where I have had four lovely vacation days with my beloved sister.
The city is beautiful! So many things to see and to do.
Beautiful monuments and museums...
...but also colorful markets..
...and people...
...and amazing shops!
Look at me and my new British style jacket at  Moloh shop at Pimlico road , London

...I'm just back

Oh My...

...I feel I'm starting a new "mania".
I LOVE these mini YO-YOs!

New look

I have changed the look to my old (and too white) sewing box!
I have used some nice (but too skinny to be sewed) selvage edges.
The box looks colorful and funny as I desired!
Just some fabric strips and a good kind of mat glue and now I love it!

All Red (...and a bit of purple) !

A few more little patches for the All RED improv  mosaic quilt.
 It will grow again !

Little project

The napkin rings are easy to make and  personalized just changing fabric.
I made these for me and my lovely hubby!

On the design wall and in my life

The red  blocks are samplers for a Improvisational Patchwork class.
They are about 5" and to make them is a big fun.
The amazing appliqè circles made by my special friend Claudia are the start for a new project I have in mind.
Coming soon...

One week ago, the burglars devastated my home. Little Trudy save herself behind a sofa and we all are safe. They kept just few cash and my pc ( this is why I stayed so long away to blogland)... but we have had a lot of damage...definitely not a good period.
