And the pattern is a gift from a friend.

Reversible bag

An easy summer bag with a great Japanese fabric with a lovely subject...horses!

And it's reversible!...one side...

...and the other side!

Sometime also the little projects can be useful!

Blogger Quilt Festival-Spring edition

This year for the Spring edition of the Blogger's Quilt Festival I want to share a quilt that tell about friendship.

We were only people who loved quilting, Claudia, Sandra, Sonia, Luciana and I.

We only met us sometime at the same quilt-shop.

Then one day we decided to start a project together to make in the same time...a Star of Bethlehem.

We were intimidated to this pattern and to make it together gave us more courage.

It was the2007.

Believe me, all our Stars turned out simply wonderful but the better thing has been that we have become true friends.

Now we meet us every time is possible even if we live in different town and even if we are all different for age, work, and life. But we share much more as the simply quilting passion now.

This is the magic of patchwork and this is the magic of friendship.

Small project again

A raining Sunday for a easy sewing case...

...a small project again!

New things

The mug rugs are the little new things I love to made....

And , even if you have seen it on a dozen of blogs already, I show the new Denyse Schmidt fabrics collection just received.

As you can guess I love it!

I need a break...

Maybe a (patch)cup of coffee.....

....looking at the just re-opened swimming-pool in my garden.

Happy early summer to all !

A very little sampler just to take confidence with some nice quilt finishes I have learned yesterday during a beautiful class made by Sara.

My preferred is the Prairie points...a little chain of triangles . Sweet!

But also the Flat piping (true or simple) is really a interesting way to finish a quilt.

I have enjoyed this class so much! Thanks Sara!
And you , how do you like to finish your projects?

OK.... not all turn out perfect at the first time :-(
but I hope to become better with practice :-))

Think pink

Two size pink flower pincushions...

...photographed on a new and very pink cutting mat...

...I received it as a gift! Thanks Irene!

And if you want to be kind and pink you can give your welcome to a new blog friend...Rossana.
